Crowded Place #1: De Tijd

Crowded Place #1: De Tijd is a new Tetzepi programme in which 6 dancers and 14 Tetzepi musicians share a space. Crowded Place #1 is about Time: the past, the present and the future. Tetzepi invited six idiosyncratic dancers to participate in this cooperation and will be performing comprovisations in lineups of varying size.
The music sets outlines, creating a surprising space which is then examined from within and without, always true to the Tetzepi style.
For this project, Tetzepi will be using the Infrared Multitouch Dancefloor, a new device created by Hans Leeuw which allows dancers to excert control over the music played in real-time.
Dancers: Michael Jahoda, Massimo Molinari, Vincent Verburg, Francisca Rijken, Irene van Geest and Maaike van de Westeringh.
